Taking an innovative approach to early childhood education, Ivybrook Academy Myers Park is redefining the traditional Preschool experience. Research shows the importance of building a solid foundation for learning at an early age, and our Myers Park Preschool welcomes children ages eighteen months through six years. Our multi-sensory, discovery-based curriculum encourages critical thinking and awards creativity by allowing each student’s individuality to shine. Our educators recognize that children have a natural curiosity and cultivate that through meaningful experiences and relationships with educators and peers. Our goal is to lay solid foundations for lifetimes of learning.

Our Programs

Our half-day Preschool in Myers Park offers both morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate the schedules of parents.

Ivybrook Academy Myers Park offers the following programs:

  • Toddler Preschool
  • Preschool for 2-Year-Olds
  • Preschool for 3-Year-Olds
  • Preschool for 4 & 5-Year-Olds
  • Private Kindergarten

The above programs run during the traditional ten-month school year and we offer part-day summer programs in the warm off-months. The Ivybrook camp experience is designed for children ages 2 through 6 and includes themed activities and adventures that will continue the cycle of learning even after school is out. Our Curriculum

Ivybrook Academy Myers Park takes a multi-sensory, discovery-based approach to learning, and our curriculum pulls from three popular learning approaches: Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. This hybrid approach fosters creativity, inspires critical thinking, and provides children with the opportunity to research and reflect on the world around them. At our Myers Park Preschool, children’s voices are valued. We help them embrace their individuality and become compassionate citizens by customizing our approach to the specific needs of each child.
