"As I explored different paths, including business ownership opportunities, I was intentional about finding something aligned with both my values and the kind of impact I wanted to have. Around that same time, I was also thinking about my own three daughters and the type of educational environment I wanted for them, which made the decision much more personal. I was not just thinking about a business opportunity, but about the kind of environment I would trust with my own children every single day. I kept coming back to early childhood education because it is such a critical stage in development and an opportunity to shape confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning."
“As we begin this new chapter as directors of Ivybrook Academy Solon, we are deeply grateful for the strong foundation that our time spent at the Mandel JCC has provided in shaping both our professional and personal journeys,” the statement said. “Serving at the Mandel JCC deepened our passion for early childhood care and education and helped us grow as leaders, especially due to the great mentors and colleagues we had along the way.”
We are so excited to welcome our two full-time administrators (with a combined 30 years of experience) Liza Adams and Jackie Gordon. They come to Ivybrook Academy from the early childhood leadership team at the Mandel Jewish Community Center in Beachwood.
