Owner's Story

Welcome to Ivybrook Academy of Frisco! Owners Alicia and Amyn Amlani are delighted to offer Frisco families and their children with a nationally recognized, progressive approach to early learning based on a curriculum that blends Reggio Emilia + Montessori + Theory of Multiple Intelligences.

Alicia and Amyn both grew up in the greater Dallas, Texas, metropolis. They met in 1988 as teenagers, married a decade later, and are longtime residents of Frisco, with all three children graduates of Frisco high schools.

Alicia, who has a bachelor's degree in accounting, led finance, human resources, and operations for a variety of companies, ranging from growth-stage innovators to industry leaders, for 20+ years. Amyn has an earned a PhD in Audiology/Psychoacoustics, with 25+ years of professional experiences (i) in academia as an educator, scholar, and administrator, (ii) in the healthcare industry, and (iii) as an independent health economics and outcomes research consultant.

The Amlani’s look forward to providing an exceptional Ivybrook Academy experience for families while providing a nurturing environment for each child on his/her educational and developmental journey that will serve as their foundation to a future filled with personal and professional successes!
