Carrie Turk is excited to bring Ivybrook Academy to Louisville Ky.

Carrie and her husband, Jim, live in Louisville with their children and 3 dogs. They know all too well how important, and sometimes difficult, it can be to find a preschool that truly focuses on the needs of the child.

As a Pediatric Occupational therapist, Carrie is well educated and experienced on how children learn and develop. Every child is unique and and its vital that an early education curriculum meet the child where they are, and then build. When Carrie learned about how Ivybrook’s progressive curriculum focused on the holistic learning needs of the children that attend, she jumped at the chance to be a part of it. Ivybrook blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches to not only educate, but to build a love of learning based on the child’s own interests.

There really is nothing like Ivybrook here in Louisville, and Carrie cannot wait to introduce the city to the magic.
