A Preschool That Nurtures Every Child’s Voice
At Ivybrook Academy Roanoke, we offer enriching and educational preschool programs designed for children ages 18 months to 6 years. By partnering closely with families, we provide a supportive environment where each child’s unique potential in social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth is nurtured and celebrated.
Our campus operates on a ten-month academic schedule with an engaging Summer Camp program available for the remaining two months. During the school year, our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with summer programs running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To ensure meaningful learning experiences, we offer morning and afternoon sessions that prioritize developmentally appropriate half-days. This approach minimizes stress, fosters growth, and helps children transition smoothly to full-day schooling.

Programs Designed to Inspire Young Minds
Toddler Preschool
Our toddler program encourages independence and curiosity in a warm, secure setting. Children are introduced to activities like singing, dancing, art, and storytelling, providing various opportunities to express themselves while building foundational skills.
Preschool for 2-Year-Olds
This program caters to younger and older two-year-olds, focusing on fostering relationships and intellectual growth. Activities are designed to help children uncover their individuality, develop social skills, and explore their emerging interests.
Preschool for 3-Year-Olds
Three-year-olds begin to explore their environment and learn practical life skills such as pouring, wiping, and sorting. Our educators tailor lessons to each child’s unique learning style, inspiring creativity and respect for others in a collaborative setting.
Preschool for 4 & 5-Year-Olds
Our pre-kindergarten program strengthens foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Through engaging activities like problem-solving and group projects, we prepare children for the next stage of their educational journey while nurturing their social and cognitive development.
Preschool Summer Camp
Ivybrook Academy’s Summer Camp allows children to continue learning through fun and exciting activities. With new themes introduced each year, children can explore creative projects, water activities, scientific discoveries, and more—all while building friendships in a relaxed environment.
