Kelsey brings to an organization strong leadership, ability to engage teams, and can clearly convey both team and company goals such that all people and pieces of the organization are working together for success. From a business management perspective, she is broadly experienced in Supply Chain systems to include manufacturing, strategic procurement, vendor/supplier management, logistics, warehousing, quality, facility and equipment maintenance, planning and scheduling, engineering, and HS&E functions. With this deep and all-encompassing experience within these functional groups, Kelsey is proficient and competent in managing financial performance of the Business Units and managing complex P&L statements. She is accustomed to managing her businesses using data and facts and assesses the performance of the business using Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) which enable a business manager to determine if performance is driving off course before it actually fails. All the above have contributed to Kelsey’s success in corporate organizations and business management.
Kelsey comes to this point in her career where she has given her talents and knowledge to help build the success of large corporations, both financial as well as operational success. Her children are grown, college educated and have professional careers of their own, leaving Kelsey and her husband Doyle to look inward and start focusing their futures on pursuing an endeavor for themselves. Kelsey and Doyle are now focused on turning their talents and extensive business knowledge into an Ivybrook Academy Franchise, which not only will provide both a new satisfaction about their personal pursuits of doing good for others, but also benefits children in the process.
Kelsey and Doyle have dedicated their lives to their children as well as thousands of children within the local Woodlands community through being leaders within the Cub Scout and Boy Scout organizations for 10 years, to teaching Sunday School for 17 years at the same church they have attended in The Woodlands since 1993. Their heart is full of love for children, and they are both passionate about early childhood education having entered both of their children in both private preschool and Kindergarten, and private primary school for their daughter.
Opening an Ivybrook Academy in The Woodlands perfectly aligns with Kelsey and Doyle's passion for children and education. Success in the business is expected to be high considering Kelsey's extensive business acumen, both of their deep roots in The Woodlands community, and overall career success over the last 30 years.
