Our Approach to Early Childhood Education

Ivybrook Academy of Estero honors and values children’s voices and celebrates their uniqueness. We do so by creating and implementing learning plans that are developed based on observations of the child. The world around them provides ample opportunity for exploration, so we use the physical environment to stimulate and engage them.

The Montessori method and Reggio Emilia approach help foster creativity and inspire critical thinking, while our Discovery Program provides time for creative expression, library studies, and music and movement. Ivybrook also fosters a collaborative learning environment that consists of small group work that encourages children to work together on shared tasks.
